Graphical Design - 3D Scaning

Dear visitor,
i would like to show you a little bit of my current job at AS - Archäologie Service. In Lower Austria and Vienna AS manages archaeological excavations on behalf of the austrian heritage office. My humble contribution consists on digitalising artefact-drawings. In short I scan the pencil drawings, enhance them, apply depth through shading and place them into a predefined frame.


Furthermore, since a short time ago AS bought a 3D-Laser-Scanner, our team has the task of handling the 3D-documentation of excavated artefacts. In January this year we attended a PolyWorks-training and are beginning to test this new technology. We hope, that in the near future we could handle great part of our artefact-documetation using the 3D-Scanner.
